Brandon Richey


Brandon Richey is the strength and conditioning coach at Team Octopus and owner of Elite Fitness and Performance Systems (EFPS). He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and has over 10 years of training experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in health promotion with a background in exercise science from the University of Georgia.

Brandon later returned to UGA to work as a strength assistant for the football team, under legendary Hall of Fame strength coach, Dave Van Halanger, from 2002-2004, then moved on to work in a private sector of the fitness industry, training Division 1 and professional collegiate football players. He works with all sorts of athletes, from baseball players to lacrosse players and, of course, with fighters from different forms of full contact combat sports. Richey also consults with local high school athletic teams to help them formulate and design their strength and conditioning programs.

His fitness training program is designed for the athlete to enhance his or her athletic ability via building strength, speed, agility, and power. Richey also has a love for martial arts and has integrated his expertise of kettlebell training for his students.
