Yoga

This form of yoga is centered around building strength while maintaining steady breathing. It also focuses on building internal heat, which allows the body to go deeper into the intense series of asanas, or postures. You will soon feel your body become stronger, your balance more improved, and your mind more peaceful.

Class description

Level I: This class is for those brand new to Ashtanga yoga and for those who just want to deepen their practice. Students will learn practice the primary series and become familiar with many of the basics of the second series. Students at any level are welcome to join. Level I will prep students for the Level II classes as well.

Level II: This class is for experienced beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. We will practice the first series and delve into the second series. It is recommended that students know the basics of Ashtanga or have attended a few Level I classes.

All levels: Students of all levels are welcome to join this class. This class will especially be varied so each class will be very different. We will slowly break down different advanced postures and continue to practice the basics of the primary series. Modifications will be given for all postures.

Private instruction: Whether you are new to yoga, a seasoned yogi wanting to deepen your practice or are recovering from an injury, we are happy to work with you one-on-one! You and your teacher will work together to focus on achieving your goals Please ask about private instruction today!
